Had to make the difficult decision today to put my sweet pet down.
Oscar was a lovely cat, but age was really making life difficult with him. Wasn't eating nearly enough inspite of the food he was recieving. Was shedding a lot of fur, Couldn't walk nearly as comfortably for the past 4 months. Was getting sick frequently.
Medicine would only prolong his horrible condition, It sucked, but a very quick lethal dose was what he needed.
If heaven exists. I hope he's already there and happy.
It’s never easy saying goodbye. I completely understand cause I had to go through something similar. Only instead of age it was feline leukemia.

ReplyDeleteMy deeped sympathies and wishes to you. It's never easy having to do this but in the end it's for the best. I'm sure they had a lovely life with you and every moment was amazing. May they rest easy.

I feel for you, man. I know what it's like to lose a pet. I lost about five dogs too many growing up.
